In Memoriam: Anne Isenhower

Anne Isenhower with her childAtlanta PR legend Anne Isenhower died Jan. 1, 2026, at age 59. Originally from North Carolina and a 1990 UNC-Chapel Hill graduate, she moved to Atlanta and worked in communications roles at the Atlanta History Center, SciTrek and the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games, and later for FleishmanHillard, the American Cancer Society and Golin.

She started her own firm in 2011, with well-known clients like Rotary International and Deloitte. She was involved in local organizations such as the Georgia House Rabbit Society and planned an annual gala for Captain Planet. She also help raise money for Democratic candidates and organizations. She was preceded in death by her son, Max, who passed away in December 2025. According to the AJC, a celebration of her life will be held later in the year at Manuel’s Tavern in Atlanta.
